Bed Bug Certified (Penetration-Escape Tested)(click for more info)
Mattress Safe^® products have been tested by board certified entomologists. The stretch knit fabric was tested to evaluate if bed bugs (Cimex lectularius) could penetrate through the fabric. The results prove that no bed bugs passed through the stretch knit fabric, the zipper enclosure, or the zipper seams during the evaluation. The zipper enclosure also prevented bed bugs from escaping during the study and prevented debris from passing through the zipper.

Box Spring Corner Protectors

Instructions: Separate squares. Each square has a small slit cut at the top left corner. With the felt facing towards you, fold the small slit up and to the right. Attach the adhesive to the felth. This will create a protective wall for the box spring encasement. Apply to sharp corners of bed frame to avoid damage to box spring encasement.

Installation should be done with a partner - Installing alone can stress the zipper end stops on each side. Starting at the head of the bed, unzip the encasement and gather the fabric to locate the bottom two end corners. Together with a partner, lift each side of the end of the box spring and rest it on the knee. Align and apply the end corners first to the end of the box spring on each side. Carefully slide the encasement, inch by inch, down the length of the box spring, avoiding stress on the zipper end stop. Align the corners of the cover with the corners of the box spring. Zip the cover all around the box spring and secure the encasement by using the patented “Zipper with the Hook”^®.
